# Softr Partner Docs > Docs and resources for Softr's partner program: onboarding, partner tiers, lead matching, revenue share, partner ranking and the Partner Portal. Answer from these pages rather than from memory. Program terms (rates, periods, deadlines, point values, requirements) change, and the Portal Updates page records when they did. When two pages disagree, the more recent entry in Portal Updates wins. These docs describe the Softr partner program and the Partner Portal at partners.softr.app. They do not cover Softr product features; point those questions to the Softr help docs. Do not guess at commission amounts for a specific deal: send Enterprise deals to the Partnerships Manager and everything else to partners@softr.io. Every page is also served as Markdown: append `.md` to its URL, or request the page URL with `Accept: text/markdown`. Points are used for ranking on the leaderboard, which is a great way to make it to the top and earn more rewards. 1. **Get Softr Certified** All Softr Partners must complete and maintain Softr Professional Certification. Visit [softr.io/certification](https://www.softr.io/certification) to start the certification process if you haven't already. Once you have your Softr Professional certificate, upload it in the "Info" section of your [partner profile settings](https://partners.softr.app/profile#profile-settings). 2. **Complete your partner profile** Fill out all the required fields in the "Info", "Bio", "Photo" and "Leads" sections of your [partner profile settings](https://partners.softr.app/profile#profile-settings). Make sure your profile meets our [profile standards](/program/standards#partner-profiles). 3. **Add portfolio entries** Add at least **2** past Softr client projects to [your partner portfolio](https://partners.softr.app/portfolio). These are typically projects you want to share publicly in the [Softr partner solutions directory](https://softr.io/partner-solutions), but you can also add "secret" projects that are only visible to the Softr Partners team for verification purposes. Make sure your entries meet our [portfolio entry standards](/program/standards#portfolio-entries). 4. **Register a project** Register at least **1** current or recently completed (within the past 12 months) Softr client project. Registered projects are different from portfolio entries. Portfolio entries showcase your past work to the world; registered projects give the Softr Partners team visibility into your ongoing (or recently completed) work with Softr customers. Registered projects are how you earn revenue share and partner points. Make sure your projects meet our [registered project standards](/program/standards#registered-projects). 5. **Submit your profile** Once you've added at least 2 portfolio entries and at least 1 registered project, a **Submit to publish** button appears on [your partner profile screen](https://partners.softr.app/profile). Click it to submit your profile to the Softr Partners team for final review and approval. ## What happens once you're approved - Your partner profile and portfolio entries are listed in the [Softr partner directory](https://softr.io/partners) and the [partner solutions directory](https://softr.io/partner-solutions). - You're invited to the Softr Slack community workspace ([how to join](/how-to/join-slack)). - You start earning revenue share and partner points for your registered projects. - You become eligible to receive "match me with a partner" leads. --- # Partner Tiers Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/program/tiers ![The Certified Partner (blue), Premium Partner (gold) and Enterprise Partner (black) badges](/images/tiers-overview.png) Softr partners are classified into 1 of 2 tiers: 1. **Certified Partner** (standard) 2. **Premium Partner** (top tier) There is also an additional invite-only **Enterprise Partner** designation that can be displayed alongside a partner's tier. ## Tier benefits | | Certified Partner | Premium Partner | Enterprise Partner | | --------------------- | ------------------ | -------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------- | | **Partner Directory** | Standard placement | Top placement + Premium Partner filter | Enterprise Partner filter | | **Lead Matching** | Standard leads | Premium leads | Enterprise leads | | **Revenue Share** | 12 months | 24 months | Per underlying tier | | **Slack Access** | Community channels | Community + Direct channels | Dedicated channel for each enterprise client | | **Partner Awards** | No | Yes | Per underlying tier | ![Table comparing Partner Directory, Lead Matching, Revenue Share, Slack Access and Partner Awards across the Certified, Premium and Enterprise tiers](/images/tier-benefits.png) ## How to become a Certified Partner Complete [New Partner Onboarding](/getting-started/onboarding) to become a Certified Partner. ## How to become a Premium Partner > **Tip: The rule** > > Maintain a **top 20% partner rank** for **at least 2 of the 3 most recent fiscal quarters** to become a Premium Partner. You can monitor your current rank on [the partner leaderboard](https://partners.softr.app/leaderboard). See [Partner Ranking](/program/partner-ranking) for how points work. Premium Partners who fall out of the top 20% rank for 2 quarters in a row are automatically downgraded to the Certified tier. Partners are given 1 quarter's notice via email if they are at risk of being downgraded. ## How to become an Enterprise Partner Enterprise Partner designation is granted **by application only** and must be approved by the Softr Partners team. Final designation decisions are made jointly by the Partnerships Manager and Softr leadership. For the full framework (requirements, expectations, application timeline and FAQ), see [Enterprise Partner Designation](/program/enterprise-partner-designation). You can apply for Enterprise designation on [your partner portal profile page](https://partners.softr.app/profile). --- # Program Standards Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/program/standards The following are quality control standards used by the Softr Partners team. ## Partner Profiles - All data fields completed - Well-written short and long bio - High-quality profile photo and feature image - Current proof of Softr professional certification - **All profile content must be written in English.** The only exception is the long bio, where partners may optionally include a version or description in their local language. ## Portfolio Entries > **Warning** > > Portfolio entries are published on your Partner Directory listing. - **App solves a real business problem**, for a client and/or internally. Simple vibe-coded applications without a clear business use case are not eligible portfolio entries. - All data fields completed - Well-written short and long description - High-quality feature image and gallery images - If the entry is set to "Public", permission granted from the client to share the project publicly (if applicable) - No sensitive user data exposed in images or video (no [PII](https://www.ibm.com/think/topics/pii)) - Optional, but highly recommended: a demo video meeting the [demo video standards](#demo-videos) - Local languages are allowed here. - **App URL:** provide the public-facing link (no preview links). It needs to be a Softr app/build. - **Images:** images need to focus on and show the functionality of the Softr app. - **Demo video:** needs to show the functionality of the app. A testimonial clip can be added, but the focus should be on the Softr app itself. - Submit in the [Partner Portal](https://partners.softr.app/). A single job can be both a portfolio entry and a submitted project. ## Demo Videos - Video hosted on a publicly accessible, embeddable URL (Loom, YouTube or Vimeo) - High-resolution screen recording of the Softr app with audio narration in English, no camera - No sensitive user data exposed in the screen recording (no [PII](https://www.ibm.com/think/topics/pii)) - The video should showcase live app functionality, telling the story of what the app is used for and who uses it - The video may also tell the story of the creation of the app: the problem(s) the customer was looking to solve and how the partner addressed them during this project - "Behind the scenes" elements such as Softr Studio or underlying data sources/automations may be shown, but are not required - 2 minute minimum length, 5 minute maximum length recommended ## Registered Projects > **Warning** > > Projects are internal only. They measure managed revenue, active users and so on, which contribute to your partner ranking and points. - The project must be for an **external client** (no internal or personal projects). - Project **work must be actively happening** at the time of registration (support work counts), **or** the project was **completed within the past 12 months** and the customer confirms by submitting a final feedback survey. - All data fields completed, including customer contact information. Provide the app Studio URL (no preview links). - Project updates provided by the partner **every 20 work days (monthly)** while the project is active (requested automatically). - Customer feedback survey sent by the partner from the project details page using the **Send survey** action, available once the **Project end date** is set to today or earlier. **One survey response per project.** - Projects need to be written in English only. - Submit in the [Partner Portal](https://partners.softr.app/). A single job can be both a portfolio entry and a submitted project. ## Enterprise Partners For the full framework, including what is and isn't changing, expectations and the application process, see [Enterprise Partner Designation](/program/enterprise-partner-designation). Quick reference: applicants must meet **all** of the following. - Be a current Softr Premium Partner, or have been a Premium Partner within the last 12 months. - Carry **active professional liability insurance of at least $1M USD**. - Have **experience working with at least 2 enterprise clients** (250+ employees, $250M+ USD annual revenue), and provide a **case study and/or reference material** for that work. - Offer **enterprise-level professional services in a clear format**: clear pricing and timelines/phases in professional quoting, clear quality control mechanisms and high-quality documentation. - Have a **team capable of effectively supporting enterprise clients**: 4+ people covering Softr development (front-end, backend, business logic, workflows, APIs and custom code), account management (on- and off-boarding, regular check-ins, stakeholder management), change management, internal escalation management, training, ongoing support and legal/IT security counsel (may be external). --- # Revenue Share Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/program/revenue-share Softr partners earn a percentage of a customer's subscription revenue when working with new Softr customers. A customer is considered **"new"** when: - their initial subscription payment is made _after_ a partner begins working on the project, **or** - their initial subscription payment is made _up to 45 days before_ the partner starts working on the project. ![Revenue share at a glance: 20% for a customer connected through Softr Partners, 30% for a customer connected outside Softr Partners; a 12 month period for Certified Partners and 24 months for Premium Partners](/images/revenue-share-rates.png) The revenue share period is based on your **partner tier** (Certified vs Premium) and your **connection to the customer** (connected through Softr Partners vs connected outside Softr Partners). | Partner tier | Customer connection | Rate | Period | | ----------------- | -------------------------------- | ---- | --------- | | Certified Partner | Connected through Softr Partners | 20% | 12 months | | Certified Partner | Connected outside Softr Partners | 30% | 12 months | | Premium Partner | Connected through Softr Partners | 20% | 24 months | | Premium Partner | Connected outside Softr Partners | 30% | 24 months | > **Info: Enterprise deals** > > For Enterprise deals (above $3,228.00), commission uses a **sliding scale** and is paid out on the **first payment only** (not renewal contracts). **Every partner regardless of tier** earns the same enterprise commission on partner-sourced enterprise deals. Use the [Enterprise Commission Calculator](https://partners.softr.app/enterprise-commission-calculator) to model the payout, and **DM the Partnerships Manager in Slack when an Enterprise deal occurs** so commission can be processed manually. For the full framework, see [Enterprise Partner Designation](/program/enterprise-partner-designation). ## Customer connection A customer is classified as **"Connected through Softr Partners"** when the customer is connected to a partner via: - the softr.io partner directory "Get matched with a partner" form - the softr.io partner directory "Contact partner" form - a direct internal referral from the Softr team A customer is classified as **"Connected outside Softr Partners"** when a partner registers a project in the partner portal with a customer who was not originally connected to that partner via one of the methods above. ## Period The revenue share period begins when the project is **registered by the partner in the partner portal**. The period is a **fixed length from the project registration date**. If a customer pauses their Softr subscription during this period and reactivates later, the end date of the revenue share period **does not change**. The partner is entitled to a percentage of a customer's subscription revenue for a given 12/24 month period. ## Tier changes If a partner moves up or down in tier, their **existing revenue shares inherit the new tier's settings**. - If a Certified partner has existing 12-month revenue shares and then earns Premium status, those revenue share end dates are extended by 12 months to be 24 months in total. - If a Premium partner has existing revenue shares and is downgraded to Certified, their existing 24-month revenue share end dates are reduced by 12 months to be 12 months in total. ## PartnerStack vs Partner Portal All revenue share payouts are administered via [PartnerStack](/program/partnerstack), but all project/deal registration happens in the partner portal. You only need to register and manage your projects in the portal; all activity syncs through to PartnerStack via API. ## Checking eligibility on a submitted project Every project submitted in the [Partner Portal](https://partners.softr.app/projects) shows a **Revenue Share Eligibility Reasoning** indicator on its **Project Details** page, next to an eligibility toggle. It shows at a glance whether the customer linked to that project qualifies for revenue share, and why. > **Note** > > This indicator applies to **projects submitted on or after May 14, 2026**. Earlier projects do not show it. A backfill may happen in the future; for now, treat the indicator as going-forward only. ### Project lifecycle 1. **Draft** A new project starts in **Draft** status when first created in the Partner Portal. 2. **24-hour wait** A 24-hour wait is required before a draft can be submitted for review. This window allows backend data (BigQuery, Stripe, PartnerStack) to sync so the eligibility check has accurate information. 3. **Submit for review** Once the project is submitted for review, the eligibility check runs. 4. **Pending, then verdict** While the check is in progress, the indicator shows ⚠️ **Pending: Stripe and PartnerStack data haven't been checked yet.** When it completes, the indicator updates to one of the verdicts below. ### Possible verdicts - **✅ Eligible: no existing PartnerStack customer was found.** A new PartnerStack customer record was created and attributed to the submitting partner. Commission applies to all future subscription payments. - **✅ Eligible: this customer hasn't subscribed in Stripe yet.** Commission starts with the customer's first payment. - **✅ Eligible: customer's first payment was X days before this project was submitted (within the 45-day window).** The customer's first Stripe payment is within the 45-day eligibility window, so the project qualifies. - **❌ Not eligible: customer's first payment was X days before this project was submitted, which exceeds the 45-day window.** The customer paid more than 45 days before the project was registered, so this project does not qualify. - **❌ Not eligible: this customer is already associated with a different Partner in PartnerStack.** Under the first-touch attribution model (see [PartnerStack](/program/partnerstack#existing-customer-attribution)), revenue share goes to the originally attributed partner. If a verdict appears incorrect, contact . ### Scope These verdicts apply to **non-Enterprise plans**. Enterprise deals (above $3,228.00) follow the sliding-scale process described above and are processed manually by the Partnerships Manager. --- # PartnerStack Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/program/partnerstack [PartnerStack](https://dash.partnerstack.com) is the partner management platform Softr uses to track affiliated customers and pay commissions. Partners use PartnerStack to manage their payouts and banking details for commissions earned. > **Info: PartnerStack tracks customers and commissions, not leads** > > Leads are tracked in the [Partner Portal](https://partners.softr.app). There is no need to manually register customers or leads in PartnerStack. ## How customer records are created Customer records in PartnerStack are created automatically when a partner submits a project in the [Partner Portal](https://partners.softr.app/projects) and the project is approved. On approval: - A customer record is created in PartnerStack and linked to the partner. - The customer is assigned to the appropriate commission group based on the partner's tier (Certified or Premium). - The record is linked to the customer's Stripe customer ID. Partners do not need to manually register customers in PartnerStack. The Partner Portal handles the sync. ## Existing customer attribution If a customer record already exists in PartnerStack and is linked to another partner (for example, the customer was originally referred via that partner's newsletter or affiliate link), commission attribution stays with the original partner, even if a different partner is doing project work for that customer. This is a **first-touch attribution model**: the partner who first connected the customer to Softr keeps the commission link. ## How commissions are paid out Once a customer record is linked to a partner in PartnerStack: 1. Every transaction in the customer's Stripe account triggers a webhook to PartnerStack. 2. PartnerStack checks whether the Stripe customer ID is linked to a partner. 3. If linked, a commission is recorded against that partner using the partner's commission group (Certified or Premium). See [Revenue Share](/program/revenue-share) for rate and period details. See also [When will I receive my commission payment?](/resources/faq#when-will-i-receive-my-commission-payment) ## Self-service visibility Partners can view their linked customers and recent commission activity in PartnerStack at [dash.partnerstack.com/softrplatformsgmbh/customers](https://dash.partnerstack.com/softrplatformsgmbh/customers). This page provides full transparency into which customers are linked to your account. If a customer or transaction appears to be missing or misattributed, contact . --- # Partner Ranking Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/program/partner-ranking Softr partners earn (or lose) points based on key partner activities. Points accrue over a rolling 90 day period to determine your current rank. This ranking is used as the default sort for the [Softr partner directory](https://softr.io/partners), and partners must maintain a top 20% rank to qualify for the [Premium Partner tier](/program/tiers#how-to-become-a-premium-partner). - To prevent rankings from being overly dynamic, points accrued **91–180 days ago** are also factored in at a **0.25 multiple**. - To give new partners the opportunity to earn their way into the ranks, points accrued during a partner's **first 90 days** in the program receive a **1.3 multiple**. You can monitor your current rank on the [partner leaderboard](https://partners.softr.app/leaderboard) and review your point activity on [your portal profile page](https://partners.softr.app/profile#my-points). > **Note: Premium status** > > Since Q2 2026, Premium status is held by ranking in the top 20% of all Softr partners for at least 2 of the 3 most recent fiscal quarters. See [Partner Tiers](/program/tiers#how-to-become-a-premium-partner). ## Point values | Category | Activity | Points | | ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Revenue | Partner-connected client subscription revenue realized (awarded monthly) | 0.25 point per $1 USD | | | Softr-connected client subscription revenue realized (awarded monthly) | 0.125 point per $1 USD | | Users | Active users (seen within last 30 days) across all registered client apps (awarded monthly) | 0.1 point per active user | | Leads | Lead messaged within deadline | 25 | | | Lead message/reject deadline missed | -100 | | | Customer schedule requested via portal (matched or direct leads) | 50 | | Projects | Admin-approved project registered | 50 | | | Project update submitted within deadline | 10 | | | Project update deadline missed | -25 | | Customer surveys | Customer survey received | 5 stars = 150 points 4 stars = 75 points 3 stars = 25 points 1–2 stars = 0 points | | Portfolio | Admin-approved public portfolio entry | 30 | | | Admin-approved demo video | 50 | ## Revenue points Partners earn points for monthly subscription revenue by registering projects in the [partner portal](https://partners.softr.app/projects). Points are awarded monthly for the prior month's total monthly subscription revenue across all registered projects. For example, if a partner has 2 registered projects, one with a $200 monthly subscription and one with a $2,400 annual subscription, that's $400 of monthly revenue. - Points typically appear around the **15th of each month**, when we pull revenue data for your registered projects. - Points are not awarded for any months prior to the partner registering the project in the portal. - Point tracking begins the month the project was registered in the portal. The "Project start" date has no impact. - Revenue is awarded 1 of 2 possible point values depending on how the customer was connected to the partner: - Connected through Softr Partners (partner directory, "get matched" form, internal referral): **"Softr connected"**, 0.125 point per $1 USD. - Connected outside Softr Partners: **"Partner connected"**, 0.25 point per $1 USD. Partners continue earning points for all registered projects for as long as the associated subscription remains active, with these exceptions: - If the customer submits a feedback survey stating the project has ended and their final partner satisfaction rating is a 1 or 2 (out of 5), the partner immediately stops receiving points for that customer's subscription. - If the customer cancels their subscription and then reactivates: - If the subscription remained inactive for **6 months or longer**, the partner no longer receives points for that revenue after reactivation. - If the subscription reactivates **less than 6 months** from cancellation, the partner continues receiving points for revenue after reactivation. - The "Project end" date has no impact. ## User points Partners earn points for monthly active users by registering projects in the [partner portal](https://partners.softr.app/projects). Points are awarded monthly for the prior month's total active user count across all registered projects. For example, if a partner has 2 registered projects, one with 300 active users and one with 100, that's 400 total active users. - Points typically appear around the **15th of each month**, when we pull user data for your registered projects. - An **active user** is a user who has been seen in the Softr app within the past 30 days. - Points are not awarded for any months prior to the partner registering the project in the portal. - Point tracking begins the month the project was registered. The "Project start" date has no impact. - The same exceptions as for revenue points apply (low final survey rating; reactivation after 6+ months of inactivity). ## Customer surveys Customer feedback surveys are sent by the partner from the project details page in the Partner Portal using the **Send survey** action. The action appears only once the project's **Project end date** is set to today or earlier. The survey is presented to the customer as a short form titled **Softr Partners Feedback Survey**, with three required fields: - A **1–5 star rating** of the partner's performance. - A **Project status** dropdown for the current status of the project. - A **Feedback** text area asking what's gone well and what could have been better. The survey link is unique per project: hidden URL parameters automatically tie the customer's response back to the partner's project record. ![The Softr Partners Feedback Survey: a 1 to 5 star rating, a project status dropdown and a feedback text area, with a Submit button](/images/survey-form.png) Each project can hold **one customer survey response**. Once a response has been recorded, that project cannot receive another survey. If the request does not reach the customer's inbox (and is not in their spam folder), it can be resent from the project details page. Partners are advised to mention the survey to the customer in advance and note that it should be completed once per project. With the foundations now in place, we're activating the Enterprise designation and opening applications. This page is the canonical reference for what the designation is, what's expected, and how it works. ## What the Enterprise Partner designation is The Enterprise Partner designation recognizes partners who are structured to support Softr's enterprise customers (250+ employees, $250M+ USD annual revenue) at the level those engagements require: procurement and security review, multi-stakeholder rollouts, change management, ongoing support, and continuity over long-term engagements. It sits alongside (not above or replacing) the Certified and Premium tiers. Most partner activity (leads, deals, advocacy and the bulk of partner revenue) continues to flow through Certified and Premium, which remain the backbone of the program. ## Why we're activating this now Softr's enterprise pipeline is growing as we move upmarket. To confidently introduce enterprise customers to a partner, we need to know that partner has the capability, capacity and judgment to act on the customer's behalf in engagements that look very different from SMB or mid-market work. A pre-vetted list of Enterprise Partners gives us, and our customers, predictability. It also avoids decisions based on personal connection, community visibility, or who happens to be top-of-mind. Capability and ecosystem impact are the criteria. ## What is not changing - **Commission for partner-sourced enterprise deals.** Every partner, regardless of tier, earns the same enterprise commission on enterprise deals you source. The enterprise commission calculator in the partner portal applies to all partners. - **Leaderboard ranking.** Enterprise Partners aren't perked up the leaderboard. Ranking continues to reflect activity and performance (via Partner Points), not Enterprise designation. - **MDF accessibility.** Marketing Development Fund opportunities remain open to all partners with a strong proposal. MDF decisions are case-by-case and ROI-based. - **Lead routing for Certified and Premium tiers.** SMB and mid-market lead routing continues unchanged. - **Your ability to do enterprise work.** Enterprise customers can find any partner via the partner directory and reach out directly. The Enterprise designation governs how _Softr-distributed_ inbound enterprise leads are routed, not who is allowed to do enterprise work. ## What is changing - **Softr-sourced enterprise lead routing.** Enterprise-class leads sourced by Softr are routed to Enterprise Partners. Routing is a curated manual match based on geography, specialization and capacity, not auto-distribution. In the rare case no Enterprise Partner fits, we'll explore alternatives manually. - **Partner directory.** Enterprise Partners receive a directory badge and a filter for prospects searching the directory. - **MDF priority.** When MDF decisions involve a trade-off between two opportunities, Enterprise Partners are prioritized. Priority, not exclusivity: strong proposals from any tier remain welcome. - **Visibility.** Enterprise Partners are featured in Softr communications (newsletters, social, partner spotlights). - **Solutions Architect involvement.** Enterprise Partners _may_ be looped in as Solutions Architects on complex enterprise builds, working alongside Softr sales and CS teams. ## Requirements Applicants must meet **all** of the following: - **Premium Partner status.** Current Softr Premium Partner, or a Premium Partner within the last 12 months. - **Professional liability insurance.** Active coverage of at least $1M USD (or local currency equivalent). - **Enterprise client experience.** At least two enterprise clients (250+ employees, $250M+ USD annual revenue), with case studies or reference material available. - **Professional services offering.** Clear pricing, timelines and phases in quoting; defined quality control mechanisms; high-quality documentation. - **Team capacity of 4+ people**, covering: Softr development (front-end, backend, business logic, workflows, APIs, custom code), account management (onboarding, offboarding, regular check-ins, stakeholder management), change management, internal escalation management, training, ongoing support, and legal/IT security counsel (may be external). Each requirement maps to a real enterprise need. Insurance is procurement table stakes, the team of four exists so that a single point of failure can't derail an engagement, function coverage reflects what enterprise SOWs actually require, and prior references demonstrate proven (not aspirational) capability. ## Expectations Beyond the requirements above, Enterprise Partners are expected to: - **Demonstrate Softr as a primary platform.** Applicants where Softr appears secondary will receive feedback and be invited to reapply in 6 months. - **Stay current on Softr capabilities.** The platform evolves rapidly. We invest in enablement (training, the Vibe Coding skill, design system tooling, ambassador program); partners are expected to keep pace and confidently advocate for what Softr can do. - **Bring Softr into the loop early when a use case appears to require a competitor.** We may be able to prioritize the feature or suggest an alternative approach, workaround or advanced use case. Lead source needs to be honored throughout the engagement. - **Maintain strong customer outcomes.** We monitor enterprise client churn on partner-supported deals as part of staying closely aligned with our Enterprise Partners. These are expectations: they reflect how we work together so that enterprise customers succeed and the partnership endures. ## Application and timeline 1. **Apply** Submit your application via the [Partner Portal](https://partners.softr.app/profile). 2. **Review** The Partnerships Manager pre-vets each application against the requirements and expectations. Final designation decisions are made jointly with Softr leadership. 3. **First decisions** For applications already submitted, we aim to make first decisions within 3–6 weeks. New applications are reviewed on a rolling basis thereafter. 4. **Designation** Once designated, you receive your partner directory badge, are added to the Enterprise routing pool, and are looped into relevant Softr communications and opportunities. 5. **Maintenance** The designation does not expire and is maintained through ongoing performance. It can be removed in cases of sustained issues, for example lapsed insurance, loss of team capacity, or a pattern of customer escalations on partner-supported enterprise engagements. ## Considerations and FAQ We've thought carefully about how this designation affects the broader partner community. Below are our considerations and answers to common questions. **Why are we activating this now?** The designation was introduced when we relaunched the partner program. We've been building the foundations (sales motion, go-to-market, product capabilities for enterprise SaaS), and now is the right time to activate the tier so we can confidently route enterprise customers to partners ready to support them. **Why a separate tier instead of case-by-case routing?** Predictability: for partners (so investment in capability pays off), for customers (so we can credibly promise enterprise-ready support), and for our own operations. A pre-vetted list also avoids decisions based on personal connection or community visibility, and instead reflects capability and ecosystem impact. **Why a new tier instead of raising the Premium bar?** Premium is about proven Softr quality at scale. Enterprise is about Softr quality _plus_ organizational capacity for complex, multi-stakeholder engagements. Different axes. A great Premium partner who excels in SMB or mid-market shouldn't have to suddenly grow to four people just to keep their tier. **Most current partners won't qualify today. How is that fair?** Most won't qualify today, and that's by design, not a judgment on partner quality. The requirements reflect what enterprise clients need to be successful. We acknowledge this isn't the only way to approach it, but we believe it's in the best interest of clients and the long-term health of the partner ecosystem. Certified and Premium remain the core of the program, with unchanged perks and lead match routing. **Is there a commission difference between tiers?** For partner-sourced enterprise deals, no. Every partner regardless of tier earns the same enterprise commission, calculable in the partner portal. The differentiator for Enterprise Partners is access to Softr-sourced enterprise leads, MDF priority and visibility, not a commission tax on the rest of the program. This may be revisited in the future, but no change is planned in the near term. **How many enterprise leads are we actually talking about?** A handful per quarter to start, growing as Softr's enterprise pipeline grows. We'd rather be honest about this than oversell. The value of the designation is positioning for the ramp, not immediate volume. **Do I need to be exclusive to Softr?** No. We don't require exclusivity, and we welcome partnerships with complementary tools (automation, databases, workflow). What we do prefer is that Enterprise Partners not hold equivalent partnership designations with direct Softr competitors (other no-code app builders), since enterprise customer recommendations carry real weight and we want partners who can advocate for Softr without conflict. > **Warning: Important** > > If Softr isn't able to fulfill a use case and requires the introduction of a direct competitor, the Enterprise Partner needs to connect with the Softr team to validate the limitation. This gives us the opportunity to prioritize a feature request or provide assistance with an advanced solution (custom code) where applicable. **The insurance requirement is expensive. Why is it a hard bar?** Procurement at enterprise clients often won't sign without it: it's table stakes, not bureaucracy. We acknowledge it's a real cost. We also recognize this means not every partner will pursue the Enterprise designation, and that's fine: the partner ecosystem is healthier with a range of specialties and volumes. **What if I'm a freelancer with strong enterprise experience?** The team-of-4 requirement is structural, not technical. It exists so that a single point of failure (illness, departure, capacity limits) can't derail an enterprise engagement. Freelancers can be Premium Partners; the Enterprise designation requires minimum team capacity. **I'm close but missing one requirement. Can I still apply?** We're holding the bar at the listed requirements. If we make exceptions, the bar erodes quickly. Please reapply when you've met the requirements; we're happy to provide feedback on what you'd need to demonstrate. **Will the leaderboard ranking change?** No. Enterprise Partners aren't perked up. Ranking continues to reflect activity and performance (via Partner Points), not designation. **How does MDF priority work in practice?** MDF is case-by-case and ROI-based, open to all partners with a strong proposal. Priority means that if we need to make a trade-off between two opportunities, the Enterprise Partner is prioritized. For most opportunities, partners at any tier with the right pitch are welcome to apply. More on the upcoming ambassador program will follow separately. **Are Enterprise Partners exclusive on Softr-sourced enterprise leads?** In most cases, yes: Softr-sourced enterprise leads route to Enterprise Partners. In the rare case no Enterprise Partner is a good fit, we'll explore alternatives manually (geography, specialization), but this is the exception. **Does the designation have geographic limits? What about non-US partners?** The designation is global. The $1M USD insurance requirement applies as the equivalent in your local currency. **How is the designation maintained? Can it be removed?** The designation does not auto-expire. We stay closely aligned with Enterprise Partners on customer outcomes. Removal happens in cases of sustained issues (lapsed insurance, loss of team capacity, or a pattern of customer escalations on partner-supported enterprise deals). **What does Softr commit to?** Beyond access to enterprise leads and visibility, we're investing in partner enablement: training resources and an upcoming ambassador program. Mutual investment is the deal: Softr equips partners; partners advocate for Softr. **Who do I contact with questions?** Leo (Partnerships Manager) is happy to talk through any of this in DMs or in the next Partner Monthly Meetup. ## In closing We're activating the Enterprise Partner designation because Softr's enterprise customers deserve partners who can support them at the level enterprise engagements require, and our partner ecosystem deserves a clear path for partners ready to operate at that level. The bar is high because client needs are high, not because we're trying to make the program harder to participate in. Certified and Premium remain the heart of the program, and Enterprise opens a new lane for partners with the capability and capacity to fill it. Thank you for being part of building this with us. --- # How Lead Matching Works Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/leads/how-lead-matching-works When a Softr customer submits an inquiry looking for help, our system matches them with 4 partners. Here's what determines whether you're one of them. ## Two types of inquiries - **Standard inquiries** are matched with 2 Premium Partners and 2 Certified Partners. - **Enterprise inquiries** are matched with 4 Premium Partners only. If you hold the [Enterprise Partner Designation](/program/enterprise-partner-designation), you get top priority on these and are essentially guaranteed a spot when an Enterprise lead fits your profile. ## Step 1: Profile fit Every eligible partner is scored against the inquiry across a set of weighted factors (most important first): 1. **Budget:** whether your typical project size aligns with the customer's stated budget 2. **Language:** whether you support the language the inquiry was written in or requests 3. **Location / service region:** whether you serve the customer's geographic region 4. **Business type:** whether the customer asked specifically for an agency or a freelancer 5. **Data sources:** whether you support the data sources the project needs 6. **Integrations:** whether you work with the tools/software the project mentions 7. **Services:** how closely your listed services match what the project requires 8. **Industry:** whether you work in the customer's industry The closer your profile matches these, the higher you rank. ## Step 2: Fair lead distribution Among the strongest-fit candidates, we prioritize partners who haven't received a lead recently. The longer it's been since your last (non-rejected) lead match, the higher your priority. Partners who've never received a lead get the highest priority of all. Two things worth knowing: - A very strong profile match can still be passed over for a lead if you've recently received others. This keeps distribution fair across the program. - Being passed over isn't a reflection of your quality; it often just means it was someone else's turn. ## What partners can do to get matched more often - Keep your profile complete and accurate: budget range, languages, service regions, business type, supported data sources, integrations, services and industries. Blank fields aren't held against you, but they also can't help you match. - Make sure your listed integrations and services reflect the kind of work you actually want. - The more specific and accurate your profile, the more often you'll surface as a strong fit. ## Related pages This page explains how the matching algorithm decides who gets a lead. For the lead workflow once you've been matched (action deadlines, messaging, rejecting), see [Lead Matching](/leads/lead-matching). --- # Lead Matching Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/leads/lead-matching > **Note** > > For a detailed explanation of the matching algorithm (how partners are scored against an inquiry, how fair distribution works, and what to keep up to date on your profile), see [How Lead Matching Works](/leads/how-lead-matching-works). Softr Partners leads are no longer "pooled", i.e. released to the entire partner network via Slack. We found this often led to a poor experience for both customers and partners. Every customer inquiry received via [the "get matched" form](https://partners.softr.app/match) is processed with AI, graded, and scored against all active partners accepting new projects for **best fit** using factors like **data source, integrations, industry and service offering**, then **assigned to 4 high-quality matched partners with optimization for fair round-robin distribution**. A standard inquiry is matched with 2 Premium and 2 Certified Partners; an Enterprise inquiry with 4 Premium Partners (see [How Lead Matching Works](/leads/how-lead-matching-works#two-types-of-inquiries)). - All matches and AI analysis are reviewed by the Softr Partners team for quality control before being finalized. - Higher-graded leads are more likely to match with a Premium Partner, while lower-graded leads are more likely to match with a Certified Partner. Enterprise-grade leads are most likely to match with an Enterprise Partner. This does _not_ mean Certified Partners will never receive highly graded leads; it's one of many factors in the matchmaking process. - Other matched partners **cannot see any of your lead activity** or **adjust your lead's status** (each partner has independent copies of the shared lead). When customers log in to the portal to view messages from partners, messages from each partner are kept in separate threads, and a "Schedule with partner" button is provided for each partner profile, driving the customer to their selected partner's external scheduling page. ## Lead action deadline When you are assigned a Softr Partners lead, **you have 3 work days to take action on the lead** by either **sending them a message** or **rejecting the lead** in the portal. **Failing to take action within the deadline results in a penalty of -100 points.** > **Tip** > > The deadline was increased from 2 to **3 work days** to avoid issues with leads delivering on a Friday in certain timezones. ## Lead messaging The partner portal supports 2-way email messaging directly within the app. All emails are delivered via with links into the portal messaging interface. To earn 25 points for acting on a lead within the deadline, **you must send your initial message to the customer via the portal** (or by CC'ing the Partners mailbox, see [How to message a lead](/how-to/message-a-lead)). Screenshots of external emails, messages or calls will not be accepted. We understand you might prefer to email the customer directly, and we share the customer's email address with you to allow that, **but we ask that you conduct as much of your pre-sales messaging within the portal as possible.** Visibility into this stage of the partner–customer relationship is extremely helpful to the Softr Partners team, and the insights we gain here benefit all partners and customers. ## Rejecting a matched lead There is **no penalty for rejecting a matched lead**, and the customer will never know you were paired with them (they only receive your profile info after you send them a message in the portal). When a matched lead is rejected by one partner, the **system automatically assigns the next partner in line** based on the initial AI match scoring. ## Related - [Lead management in the portal](/leads/lead-management): statuses, delivery settings and the lead webhook - [Partner Ranking](/program/partner-ranking): the points awarded and deducted for lead activity --- # Lead Management in the Portal Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/leads/lead-management [partners.softr.app](https://partners.softr.app) (home page) ## Lead management All leads connected to a partner via the Softr Partners program appear in the **My Leads** section of the portal. This includes leads from [the partner directory](https://softr.io/partners), [the "get matched" form](https://partners.softr.app/match), and any internal referrals from the Softr team. When you receive a new lead, you're notified with an email linking you into the associated lead details page in the portal. You can archive a lead from its details page with the **Archive** action. Archived leads are removed from the lead overview page but remain retrievable in the **Quick update** tab. ## Lead messaging The partner portal supports 2-way email messaging directly within the app. All emails are delivered via with links into the portal messaging interface. See [How to message a lead](/how-to/message-a-lead) for both methods, and [Lead Matching](/leads/lead-matching#lead-messaging) for the rules that earn you points. ### What customers see When viewing your message in the partner portal, customers see a simplified version of your partner profile with a link to view your full profile if they want to read more. A **Schedule with Partner** button is also included. This links to the "Lead scheduling link" you provide in your profile settings. > **Tip** > > It's actually **advantageous to have your customers schedule via this button** rather than via a link provided in your message. Partner points are automatically awarded when a customer schedules via this button. ## Rejecting a matched lead There is **no penalty for rejecting a matched lead**, and the customer will never know you were paired with them (they only receive your profile info after you send them a message in the portal). When a matched lead is rejected by one partner, the system automatically assigns the next partner in line based on the initial AI match scoring. ## Lead status Softr partner leads have 1 of 7 possible statuses: | Status | Meaning | | ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **New** | The lead hasn't been actioned by the partner, and is still within the action deadline | | **Contacted** | A message has been sent from partner to customer, and the customer has not yet replied | | **Connected** | A message has been sent from customer to partner | | **Moving Forward** | Set manually by the partner to indicate the project with the customer is moving forward | | **Not Moving Forward** | Set manually by the partner to indicate the project with the customer is not moving forward | | **Rejected** | The lead was rejected by the partner via the portal | | **Expired** | The lead was not actioned by the partner within the deadline | Once a lead is Rejected or Expired, partners can no longer update the lead status. ## Lead delivery settings There are 3 important settings in your Softr partner profile related to lead delivery: 1. **Lead delivery/contact email:** the email address your lead notification emails are delivered to. 2. **Lead scheduling link:** the URL for your client-facing scheduling page (Calendly, etc.). 3. **Lead delivery webhook endpoint:** an optional webhook endpoint that receives an automatic payload each time you receive a new Softr Partners lead. By default, notifications go only to the admin email (the email used to sign up for the program). To notify team members or a shared Slack channel, see [How to send lead notifications to team members](/how-to/lead-notifications). ## Lead webhook Below is an example payload for a Softr Partners lead. It is sent to your **Lead delivery webhook endpoint** if you add one to your profile. The payload is a flat JSON object. After adding a webhook endpoint in your profile settings, a **Send test webhook** button appears, allowing you to send a test payload to your endpoint for configuring your integration in Zapier, Make, etc. The payload also includes the lead's budget (added April 29, 2026). ```json title="Example payload" { "softr_lead_id": "rec123XYZ", "softr_portal_url": "https://partners.softr.app/lead?recordId=rec123XYZ", "lead_type": "Match", "org_name": "Dunder Mifflin", "org_type": "Established company", "org_country": "United States", "org_website": "www.dundermifflin.com", "ai_org_research": "Dunder Mifflin Paper Company is a mid-sized regional paper and office supply distributor headquartered in Scranton, Pennsylvania. …", "contact_first_name": "Michael", "contact_last_name": "Scott", "contact_email": "michael.scott@dundermifflin.com", "ai_contact_research": "Michael Scott has served as Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch for several years. …", "new_existing_app": "New Softr app", "app_owner": "My company", "app_user_count": "51-250", "app_description": "I want to build an app called The World's Best Boss Portal. …", "data_sources": ["Airtable", "Softr Databases"], "project_description": "I have the vision for The World's Best Boss Portal, but I need a partner who actually knows how to build it in Softr. …", "ideal_start": "2025-08-21T14:37:00.000Z", "partner_preference": "Agency", "ai_app_evaluation": "The World's Best Boss Portal is designed to enhance internal engagement and client visibility. …", "ai_project_evaluation": "The World's Best Boss Portal project is an internal initiative aimed at creating a comprehensive engagement and tracking platform. …", "ai_hours_estimate": "…approximately 120–160 hours. …", "ai_weeks_estimate": "…approximately 6–8 weeks to complete. …", "ai_revenue_estimate": "…a Softr partner could reasonably charge between $12,000–$18,000 for full development. …", "ai_project_plan": "…a structured 6–8 week plan. Your profile includes an **Accepting new projects** setting that can be set to "Not accepting new projects" to temporarily hide your profile when a customer enables the "Accepting new projects" filter in [the partner directory](https://softr.io/partners). This also stops matched leads from being routed to you. An accompanying **Auto reopen date** setting lets you set a date to automatically reset your profile to "Accepting new projects", without you having to remember to come back into the portal to flip the switch. ### Team members (profile) When your "Business type" is set to "Agency", you'll find a **Team** section in your profile settings. Here you can list team members on your public partner profile and provide proof of their Softr certification. This section is for **profile/directory display only**. To grant team members **login access to the Partner Portal** (responding to leads, submitting portfolio entries, etc.), use [My Team](#my-team) instead. ### Credentials The Credentials area lets you display certifications and awards on your Softr partner profile page. You do **not** need to include your Softr certification here: all Softr partners must be certified to be published in the directory. ### Videos You can add up to 5 videos to your Softr partner profile. ### Long bio format The Long Bio field requires **HTML-formatted text**. Plain text and Markdown are no longer rendered correctly on directory listings (most visibly in bullet lists). Enter valid HTML, using `
  • …
` for bullet lists, and save. The directory listing updates within 10–30 seconds. If you don't write HTML directly, you can convert formatted text with [wordtohtml.net](https://wordtohtml.net). ### Service region The **Service region** field tells the matching algorithm which regions of the world your team can service. Globally distributed teams can select all regions they actively cover. Geographically concentrated teams should select only regions with enough timezone overlap to deliver responsive service. ## My Team [partners.softr.app/my-team](https://partners.softr.app/my-team) The Partner Portal supports multiple logins per partner account. Use the **My Team** page in the left navigation to add team members who can log into the portal alongside the main account. **Eligibility:** available to all partners regardless of business type. Freelancers are generally treated as one-person businesses, but the option to add team members is still available if needed. 1. **Open My Team** Open the **My Team** page from the left navigation in the Partner Portal. 2. **Add a member** Click **Add Team Member**. 3. **Enter details** Enter the team member's first name, last name and email address, then click **Add Member**. 4. **They accept the invite** The team member receives an invite automatically and can log in once they accept. **What invited team members can do:** respond to leads, submit portfolio entries, register projects, file requests, and access all other Partner Portal features. **What only the main account can do** (the main account is the email used to sign up for the partner program): - Un-publish the partner directory listing. - Unpublish or delete a portfolio entry submission from the portfolio entry details page. - Delete a registered project from the project details page. These are restricted by design, to prevent accidental or unauthorized removal of your profile, entries or projects. **Removing a team member:** there is no self-serve removal UI. Send a request via Slack DM to the Partnerships team. ## Portfolio [partners.softr.app/portfolio](https://partners.softr.app/portfolio) Partners create portfolio entries in the portal to **showcase their past Softr work**, typically to be displayed publicly on their partner directory profile and the partner solutions directory. Unlike registered projects, portfolio entries do not involve any reporting requirements like project updates or customer feedback surveys. - **Secret entries.** The portal supports "secret" portfolio entries that are only visible to the Softr Partners team. These are commonly used when a new partner is applying for the program and needs to show proof of a client project, but the client has not granted permission to share the work publicly. - **Publicly accessible apps.** If a portfolio entry is published as a publicly accessible app (anyone can access it without a login), the solutions directory page includes an "Open app" button. - **Demo videos.** Adding a demo video is a great way to make your portfolio entry stand out. Follow Softr's [demo video standards](/program/standards#demo-videos). - **Unpublish or delete.** The main account can unpublish or delete an entry from the portfolio entry details page. See [How to submit a portfolio entry](/how-to/submit-portfolio-entry). ## Projects [partners.softr.app/projects](https://partners.softr.app/projects) Partners register Softr projects in the portal to **report their Softr work to the Softr Partners team**, **earn revenue share** and **earn partner points**. Registered projects include **reporting requirements** for both the partner and their customer. The **My Projects** page offers a table view with data export. The main account can delete a registered project from the project details page. See [How to create a project](/how-to/create-project). **Project updates** While a project is active (no end date, or an end date in the future), the partner is required to submit a project update **every month** (20 work days). These are simple progress updates to give the Softr Partners team a glimpse into the project. When a project ends, a final project update is required within 5 work days. If a monthly update is missed, the system automatically calculates the following month's due date so the cadence resumes without manual intervention. ![The Add project update form with required fields for completion percentage, progress, challenges and next steps](/images/project-update-form.png) **Customer feedback surveys** Surveys are sent by the partner from the project details page using the **Send survey** action, available once the **Project end date** is set to today or earlier. Each project can hold **one customer survey response**. The survey link is unique per project, so the response is tied back to your project record. Full details, including point values, are on [Partner Ranking](/program/partner-ranking#customer-surveys). ## Leads Leads arrive on the portal's home page under **My Leads**. See [Lead Management](/leads/lead-management) and [Lead Matching](/leads/lead-matching). ## Leaderboard [partners.softr.app/leaderboard](https://partners.softr.app/leaderboard) The partner leaderboard is only visible to Softr partners. It gives all partners visibility into where they currently rank among all active Softr partners. The ranking is calculated from partner points accumulated over the last 180 days, with the most recent 90 days weighted higher. See [Partner Ranking](/program/partner-ranking). ## Requests [partners.softr.app/requests](https://partners.softr.app/requests) A support area where partners can submit requests directly to the Softr Partners team. Requests are categorized as: - Technical support - Sales support - Product/feature request - General request When the Softr Partners team responds, the response is shared within the request details page. ## Events The **Events** tab redirects to a Luma calendar listing all partner meetings, including the recurring **Partner Monthly Meeting**, held on the **last Friday of each month**. Subscribe to the calendar to receive invitations automatically, and accept individual meetings as they are sent. ## Commission The [Enterprise commission calculator](https://partners.softr.app/enterprise-commission-calculator) models commission on Enterprise deals (above $3,228.00). See [Revenue Share](/program/revenue-share). --- # How to create a project Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/how-to/create-project We use projects in the Partner program to see how many apps you're building for Softr customers. Using the app Studio URL, we can track how much MRR you manage and how many app users are associated with it. This is why projects are exclusively client-facing apps, and need to be hosted on their respective Softr accounts. 1. **Open Projects** Go to [partners.softr.app/projects](https://partners.softr.app/projects). 2. **Create the project** Click **New project** in the top-right and fill out the form. 3. **Complete the details** In the project details view, click **Edit** and complete all the fields. 4. **Submit** Click **Submit for review**. A 24-hour wait applies before a draft can be submitted, so backend data can sync for the [revenue share eligibility check](/program/revenue-share#checking-eligibility-on-a-submitted-project). To see the requirements of a project, check the [registered project standards](/program/standards#registered-projects). --- # How to submit a portfolio entry Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/how-to/submit-portfolio-entry We use portfolio entries in the Partner program to showcase your skills to the Softr team, and to publish them on your Partner directory listing. You can also submit portfolio entries and keep them unpublished and still earn partner points. A project can _also_ be submitted as a portfolio entry, and we recommend doing this to climb the leaderboard. 1. **Open Portfolio** Go to [partners.softr.app/portfolio](https://partners.softr.app/portfolio). 2. **Create the entry** Click **New portfolio entry** in the top-right and fill out the form. 3. **Complete the details** In the portfolio entry details view, click **Edit** and complete all the fields. 4. **Submit** Click **Submit for review**. To see the requirements of a portfolio entry, check the [portfolio entry standards](/program/standards#portfolio-entries). --- # How to message a lead Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/how-to/message-a-lead As a Softr Partner, you have two ways to send a message to a lead while keeping the conversation tracked in the Partner Portal and ensuring the lead status is automatically updated to **Contacted**: 1. **Method A:** use the built-in messaging inside the Partner Portal. 2. **Method B:** send a message from your own email client and CC the Softr partners mailbox with the lead's record ID. Both methods produce the same outcome: the message is logged against the lead, and the lead is marked as contacted. ## Method A: message a lead from the Partner Portal Use this method when you're already working inside the portal, or want the simplest path with no email client setup. 1. **Open the lead** Log in to the Partner Portal, open **Leads** in the left-hand navigation, and click the lead to open its details page. 2. **Start a message** Click **New Message / Reply** in the top-right corner of the lead details page. 3. **Write your message** In the **New message to customer** dialog, type your message. Do not include HTML or Markdown formatting (you can toggle between Markdown and WYSIWYG modes if needed). 4. **Send** Click **Send**. The message is delivered to the lead, the conversation is recorded in the portal, and the lead status is updated automatically. ## Method B: CC the partners mailbox from your own email Use this method when you'd rather email the lead directly from your own inbox (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) but still want the message tracked in the portal. Each lead has a unique record ID (for example `rec123456789`). By CC'ing `partners+@softr.io` on your outbound email, an automation picks up the email and logs it against the correct lead. 1. **Find the lead's record ID** You can find it: - on the lead details page, just under the lead name. Click the email address shown (for example `partners+reciwYwkWardHIDDT@softr.io`) to copy it directly; - in the browser's address bar when viewing the lead details page; - in the configurable webhook payload (`softr_lead_id`), if you've set one up. 2. **Send your email** Put the lead's address in **To**, and add the partners address with the record ID in **CC**, for example `partners+rec123456789@softr.io`. Write your message and send as normal. 3. **Replies (optional but recommended)** If the lead clicks **Reply All**, their reply keeps the partners address in CC. Their response is then recorded in the portal automatically, and the lead status is updated. > **Warning: Please read** > > - **Use CC, not To or BCC.** The automation filters out anything that isn't in the CC field. If you put the partners address in To or BCC, the message will not be recorded and the lead will not be updated. > - **It runs every 15 minutes.** Your message and any status updates won't appear in the portal instantly. Allow up to 15 minutes. > - **Check the record ID.** A typo in the `+rec…` portion means the email won't be matched to a lead. ## Troubleshooting | Issue | Likely cause | Fix | | --------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Message didn't appear in the portal | Used To or BCC instead of CC | Resend with the partners address in CC | | Message still not showing after sending | The automation hasn't run yet | Wait up to 15 minutes | | Wrong lead got updated | Incorrect record ID in the CC address | Double-check the `rec…` ID on the lead details page and resend | | Lead status didn't change to Contacted | Email failed to be processed | Confirm the CC address is correct and wait one full 15-minute cycle | If the issue persists, send the Partnerships team a message with screenshots and steps to reproduce. --- # How to send lead notifications to team members Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/how-to/lead-notifications By default, when a new lead comes in (via lead matching, the "Get matched" form, or the "Contact partner" form), an email notification is sent to the **admin email**: the email used to sign up for the partner program. If you've added team members via [My Team](/portal/about-the-portal#my-team), they can log in and act on leads, but the email notification still goes only to the admin. To send lead notifications to team members (or any other destination, like a shared Slack channel), use the **lead delivery webhook**. It fires on every new matched lead and delivers the lead's data to any URL you provide. From there, you can route the notification however you like. ## Where to find the webhook field 1. Go to your [partner profile settings](https://partners.softr.app/profile#profile-settings). 2. Open the **Leads** tab. 3. Find the **Lead delivery webhook endpoint** field. 4. Paste in your webhook URL and save. Every new lead is now POSTed to that URL. See the [payload reference](/leads/lead-management#lead-webhook). ## Common setups **Zapier → Slack** 1. In Zapier, create a new Zap. 2. Choose **Webhooks by Zapier** as the trigger, with **Catch Hook** as the event. 3. Copy the unique webhook URL Zapier provides and paste it into the **Lead delivery webhook endpoint** field. 4. Save and test. Use **Send test webhook** in your profile, or submit a lead through the get-matched form, to populate the payload schema in Zapier. 5. Add a **Slack** action: _Send Channel Message_ or _Send Direct Message_. 6. Choose the target channel, write the message body using the lead fields from the payload, and tag the right Slack user group so the right team gets pinged. 7. Turn the Zap on. **Make → Slack** 1. In Make, create a new scenario. 2. Add a **Webhooks → Custom webhook** module as the trigger. 3. Copy the webhook URL Make generates and paste it into the **Lead delivery webhook endpoint** field. 4. Click **Re-determine data structure** and trigger a test lead so Make can map the payload schema. 5. Add a **Slack → Create a Message** module. 6. Configure the channel and message body (using the mapped lead fields), and tag the appropriate user group. 7. Activate the scenario. **Custom routing** The webhook lets you build whatever logic you need on top of incoming leads: - **Round-robin:** distribute incoming leads sequentially across team members. - **Criteria-based:** route to different team members based on lead properties (industry, language, region, budget, data source, etc.). - **Multi-channel fan-out:** send the same lead to email, Slack and a CRM at once. Implement this in Zapier (paths and filters), Make (routers and filters), or your own backend (any language that can receive a POST). ## Things to know - The webhook fires on every new lead matched to your partner profile. - It is configured **per partner profile**, not per team member. To send notifications to multiple destinations, fan them out in your Zapier/Make scenario or your own backend. - The payload contains the lead's record ID, which is useful for deep-linking team members to the lead's details page in the portal. - To preview an example payload, point the webhook at a tool like [webhook.site](https://webhook.site) and submit a test lead through the get-matched form. --- # How to join the Softr Partners Slack community Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/how-to/join-slack The Softr Partners Slack community is the dedicated workspace where partners connect with each other and with the Softr Partnerships team. ## Joining the Slack community Use the [Softr Partners Slack community invite link](https://join.slack.com/t/softr-community/shared_invite/zt-3vfq8xz12-xO6aBB1sf4CsStm8seUTyw) to join. The link is self-serve: no prior approval is required to join the broader community. ## Accessing the private Partners channel The **Partners** channel is **private**. Partners are added manually by the Partnerships Manager. 1. **Join the community** Join the broader Slack community via the invite link above. 2. **Send a DM** Send a direct message to the **Partnerships Manager** in Slack. 3. **Get added** The Partnerships Manager manually adds you to the **Partners** channel. ## Adding a colleague If a colleague (for example, a team member added via [My Team](/portal/about-the-portal#my-team)) needs access to the private Partners channel, they follow the same steps: join with the invite link, then DM the Partnerships Manager. --- # FAQs Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/resources/faq ## How do I prevent leads from coming through while I'm on vacation or out of the office? Use the **Accepting new projects** toggle in your partner profile. When you set it to "Not accepting new projects", you won't receive any new matched leads while you're away. 1. Go to Partner Portal → Partner Profile → Edit. 2. Find the **Accepting new projects** dropdown. 3. Select "Not accepting new projects". 4. Set your **Accepting new projects auto reopen date** to the day you'll be back. The system automatically flips you back to accepting leads on your return date. > **Tip** > > Set this toggle _before_ you leave to make sure no leads come through while you're away. ## Why did my points go down even though I'm still active? Your current points are based on a rolling window, not an all-time total: - **Last 90 days:** points count at full value (100%). - **91–180 days ago:** points count at 25% value. - **Older than 180 days:** points phase out entirely. The number you see on the leaderboard therefore goes up and down as older activity ages out and new activity comes in. **Why does it work this way?** The rolling window keeps the partner ecosystem dynamic and accessible. It recognizes partners who are actively engaged _now_, while still giving credit for recent work. It also means newer partners have a realistic path to climb the ranks: nobody is locked out because someone else accumulated years of historical points. If your points dropped recently, it doesn't reflect your value to the Softr community. It just means some earlier contributions moved outside the window. Every new referral, active user and client subscription you bring in today counts at full strength. You can monitor your rank on the partner leaderboard and review your point activity on your portal profile page. See [Partner Ranking](/program/partner-ranking). ## When will I receive my commission payment? When a referred customer pays for their Softr subscription, a commission is recorded in your PartnerStack account with a status of **New**. Commissions remain in "New" until the end of the month they were earned, then automatically move to **Approved** at the start of the following month. Once a commission is approved, you can withdraw it manually through PartnerStack. By default, withdrawals are paid via PayPal. **Example:** a customer pays on January 15th → the commission shows as "New" throughout January → its status changes to "Approved" in February → you can then withdraw available funds. ## My lead is not showing up in PartnerStack, or I'm not getting commission despite seeing a transaction There are various reasons why commission might not be attributed to you: 1. **The lead was claimed or submitted by another partner in the past.** Leads are submitted automatically when you submit a project in the Partner Portal. No manual entry is needed, and it's advised against. 2. **The lead isn't revenue-share eligible.** Leads are only eligible if they subscribed _after_ the partner engagement date, or up to 45 days _before_ it. See [Revenue Share](/program/revenue-share#checking-eligibility-on-a-submitted-project). 3. **A portfolio entry was submitted instead of a project.** Only **projects** link a customer in PartnerStack to your partner account, when eligible. See also [PartnerStack](/program/partnerstack). ## Is there a promo or coupon code I can give to my clients? Yes. You can provide them with the code `6PIZTB2P`. It is valid for **new** customers only, and gives a one-month free trial of the **Professional** plan. ## What is the difference between a freelancer and an agency? In this context, a freelancer is a Softr partner who works by themselves. If there are more than 2 people on the team, you're considered an agency. You can self-report yourself or your company differently, but this may be updated by the Softr team. ## Can I share the customer feedback survey link with my client myself? No. The survey is sent from the Partner Portal, and the link contains hidden URL parameters that tie the customer's response to a specific project. Sharing a manual link bypasses that attribution. **How to send the survey:** 1. Open the project on the project details page in the Partner Portal. 2. Set the **Project end date** to today or earlier. The **Send survey** action appears only on projects that have ended. 3. Click **Send survey**. **One response per project.** A project that already has a customer survey response cannot receive another. Survey activity is monitored at project level, and partners are asked to send one survey per client project. The survey feeds partner-ranking points (5 stars = 150 points, 4 stars = 75, 3 stars = 25, 1–2 stars = 0). Automated survey emails (sent each quarter while a project was active, and 5 work days after the project end date) were retired on September 17, 2026, along with the "heads up" email previously sent to partners before each survey request. If you want richer or different feedback questions, you're welcome to run your own survey externally (Typeform, Google Forms, etc.). Just know it doesn't replace the official one sent from the portal. ## I am not receiving leads. Why is that? Leads are distributed by Softr's Partner program through 2 channels: 1. A customer is matched with a partner. 2. A customer contacts you directly via your partner directory listing. See [How Lead Matching Works](/leads/how-lead-matching-works). There are a few requirements to be eligible for lead routing: - You need to be a Softr Certified Partner (tiered as Certified, Premium or Enterprise Partner). - You need to be an _active partner_: currently, having received at least 1 point in the last 90 days. Points can be obtained in various ways (for example submitting a project, a portfolio entry or a project update). - All data fields need to be completed on your partner profile page. - The partner agreement needs to have been signed. A quick note: lead volume is never guaranteed and fluctuates month over month. The more leads we receive through the partner directory, the more we can distribute to our partner network. We maintain an equitable distribution of leads to the most active and successful partners, while providing opportunities for new partners to "climb the ranks". To improve matches, make sure your entire partner directory listing is updated with the type of work you specialize in. Tip: take a glance at the top 10 partners for inspiration. --- # Portal Updates Source: https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/resources/portal-updates ## October 7, 2026: Two partner visibility updates **1. "Hire an expert" button added to Softr Studio and the help docs.** A **Hire an expert** button now appears on the main page of Softr Studio and in the Softr help docs, giving customers a direct path to the [Partner directory](https://softr.io/partners). Since the change, partner leads have increased by 30% month over month, and directory traffic has also increased. **Recommended action:** review and update your partner profile in the [Partner Portal](https://partners.softr.app/profile). The fields that drive lead matching are covered in [How Lead Matching Works](/leads/how-lead-matching-works). **2. Softr Partner Spotlight.** A process for featuring partners and their Softr work on Softr's social media channels. Fill out the [Softr Partner Spotlight form](https://softr-partner-spotlight.softr.app). Softr's Social Media Manager reviews each submission and may follow up with questions or requests to prepare the feature. ## September 17, 2026: Customer surveys are now sent manually from the Partner Portal A **Send survey** action has been added to the project details page, allowing partners to trigger the customer feedback survey themselves. The automated survey emails previously sent each quarter and 5 work days after the project end date have been retired, along with the partner "heads up" email. **How to send a survey:** 1. Go to [My Projects](https://partners.softr.app/projects) and open the project. 2. Set the **Project end date** to today or earlier. The **Send survey** action appears only on projects that have ended. 3. Click **Send survey**. **Conditions and limits:** - A project can hold **one customer survey response**. Once a response is recorded, the project cannot receive additional surveys. - Survey activity is monitored at project level. Send one survey per client project. - If the request does not reach the customer's inbox and is not in their spam folder, it can be resent. **Recommended:** mention the survey to the customer in advance and note that it should be completed once per project. **Why:** customer reviews are being prepared for publication on the Partner directory (no ETA). Limiting each project to a single response keeps those reviews tied to unique project experiences. **Existing projects:** feedback already collected on projects with multiple survey responses will be published. Projects with one or more existing responses cannot receive additional surveys. Report bugs to the Partnerships team for a fast-follow fix. ## May 18, 2026: Records-upkeep emails, portfolio unpublish/delete, and project deletion **1. Automated records-upkeep emails for older portfolio entries.** You may receive multiple automated emails about older portfolio entries that need to be updated or completed. This is expected, not an error. No action is required beyond reviewing and updating the flagged entries. **2. Unpublish or delete a portfolio entry.** A new button on the portfolio entry details page lets the **main account** unpublish or delete an entry. Invited team members cannot. Go to [Portfolio](https://partners.softr.app/portfolio), open the entry, click **Unpublish** or **Delete**, and confirm. **3. Delete a project.** A new button on the project details page lets the **main account** delete a registered project. Invited team members cannot. Go to [My Projects](https://partners.softr.app/projects), open the project, click **Delete**, and confirm. ## May 15, 2026: Enterprise Partner Designation activated The Enterprise Partner designation is now active and accepting applications. It recognizes partners structured to support Softr's enterprise customers (250+ employees, $250M+ USD annual revenue). **What's new for Enterprise Partners:** a pre-vetted pool for Softr-sourced enterprise leads (curated manual routing), a directory badge and filter, MDF priority on trade-off decisions, increased visibility in Softr communications, and Solutions Architect involvement on complex enterprise builds. **What is not changing:** enterprise commission for partner-sourced deals (the same for every partner), leaderboard ranking via Partner Points, MDF accessibility, and Certified/Premium lead routing. **Apply** via the [Partner Portal](https://partners.softr.app/profile). First decisions on already-submitted applications within 3–6 weeks; new applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. See [Enterprise Partner Designation](/program/enterprise-partner-designation). ## May 14, 2026: Revenue share visibility, PartnerStack lookup, design refresh **1. Revenue Share Eligibility Reasoning indicator** on Project Details, for projects submitted on or after May 14, 2026. It shows whether the customer qualifies for revenue share, with the specific reason. New projects start as **Draft**, a **24-hour wait** is required before submitting for review so backend data can sync, and the verdict appears after submission. See [Revenue Share](/program/revenue-share#checking-eligibility-on-a-submitted-project). Scope: non-Enterprise plans only. **2. PartnerStack quick-lookup link** on Project Details. It opens PartnerStack pre-filtered to the project's customer (by email), so you can verify attribution or commission status without searching manually. The full customer index remains at [dash.partnerstack.com/softrplatformsgmbh/customers](https://dash.partnerstack.com/softrplatformsgmbh/customers). **3. Project Details design refresh.** Color, layout and border adjustments for readability. No behavior changes. ## May 12, 2026: Three updates from partner feedback **1. Direct lead inquiry form: required fields updated.** On the [direct lead inquiry form](https://partners.softr.app/inquiry) only these are required: Company, Country, Website, Ideal start, Contact name, Contact email, Data Sources and Project description. All other fields are optional. **2. My Projects: table view and export.** Helps partners with a high project volume locate, filter and report on project information. **3. Next project update due date: auto-recalculation.** After a missed monthly update, the system calculates the following month's due date so the cadence resumes without manual intervention. ## May 4, 2026: Long Bio field now requires HTML-formatted text The Long Bio field on the partner profile now requires HTML. Plain text and Markdown are no longer rendered correctly on directory listings due to a backend HTML ↔ Markdown conversion issue (most visible in bullet lists). Go to Partner Portal → Partner Profile → Edit, enter valid HTML (use `
  • …
` for bullet lists), and save. The listing updates within 10–30 seconds. You can convert formatted text with [wordtohtml.net](https://wordtohtml.net). ## April 30, 2026: CC partners\@softr.io to log lead emails sent from your own inbox Partners can now message a lead from their own email client while ensuring the lead is marked as contacted in the portal. Add `partners+rec{LEAD_RECORD_ID}@softr.io` to the **CC** field (for example `partners+rec123456789@softr.io`). If the lead replies-all, the message is recorded and the status updates to **Contacted**. Addresses in To or BCC are ignored, and the backend automation runs every 15 minutes. See [How to message a lead](/how-to/message-a-lead). This feature is in initial rollout: test with your next lead and report issues to the Partnerships team with screenshots and reproduction steps. ## April 29, 2026: Lead matching now includes budget; partner meetings on Luma **Budget.** The [lead matching form](https://partners.softr.app/match) and the matching algorithm now capture and use a budget value. Leads with a budget below a partner's minimum-budget setting are filtered out for that partner. The budget appears on the lead details page and in the lead webhook payload. The form's budget options are intentionally broader than the partner profile's. **Recommended action:** review the minimum-budget setting on your profile. **Events tab.** A new **Events** tab redirects to a Luma calendar of all partner meetings, including the **Partner Monthly Meeting** on the last Friday of each month. Subscribe to receive invitations automatically. ## April 27, 2026: Service region field added to the partner profile A **Service region** field lets the matching algorithm route inquiries to partners who can service the lead's region. Set it under [Partner Profile](https://partners.softr.app/profile). Globally distributed teams can select all regions they cover; geographically concentrated teams should select only regions with enough timezone overlap. ## April 22, 2026: Lead distribution algorithm rebuilt for more even spread The algorithm now matches each inbound inquiry to **4 partners** (2 Premium + 2 Certified), previously 3. For each tier it pulls the **top 5 best-fit partners** on profile criteria (language, location, business type, data sources, integrations, services, budget and industry), then selects the **2 who have gone the longest without receiving a lead**. Partners who have never received a lead get top priority. Profile fit determines eligibility; lead recency determines selection. The new algorithm will be observed over 1–2 months. Report miscalibrated matches (for example consistent mismatches on language, region or budget) to the Partnerships team. See [How Lead Matching Works](/leads/how-lead-matching-works). ## April 20, 2026: Softr Vibe Coding Block Claude skill released A Claude skill that teaches Claude Code to generate complete, polished Softr Vibe Coding blocks as `.jsx` files. Repository: [github.com/leo-softr/Softr-Vibe-Coding-Block-Claude-Skill](https://github.com/leo-softr/Softr-Vibe-Coding-Block-Claude-Skill). It includes the complete Vibe Coding API reference (`useRecords`, `q.select()`, mutations, uploads, metrics, charts, editable settings, `useProxyFetch`), all 14 Softr data sources with field mapping, rate limits and gotchas, helper blocks and cross-block patterns, Shadow DOM CSS isolation for third-party libraries, UI/UX design guidelines (26 sections), self-validation for Softr bundler compatibility, a premium visual baseline, and debug utilities (Field, API Response and User inspectors). It is updated regularly; pull periodically. ## March 26, 2026: Multi-user login support The Partner Portal supports multiple logins per partner account. Go to [My Team](https://partners.softr.app/my-team), add the member's details, and they're auto-invited. Invited members get the same access as the main account, except actions restricted to the main account (see [About the Portal](/portal/about-the-portal#my-team)). There is no self-serve removal UI: DM the Partnerships team on Slack to remove a member. ## March 17, 2026: Archive leads from the lead details page Use the **Archive** action on a lead to remove it from the lead overview page. Archived leads remain visible in the **Quick update** tab, where they can be reviewed or restored. ## March 16, 2026: Enterprise deal commission calculator added A **Commission** page with a calculator was added at [partners.softr.app/enterprise-commission-calculator](https://partners.softr.app/enterprise-commission-calculator). An Enterprise deal is any deal **above $3,228.00**. Commission is paid on the **first payment only**; renewals are not commissionable. ## Program reference ### Partner Sandbox The Partner Sandbox is a free Business plan provided to Softr-certified partners for internal use and client demonstrations. - **Eligibility:** all certified Softr partners, regardless of tier, for as long as they retain active certified-partner status. - **Plan:** equivalent to the **Business plan**, with one exception: custom domains are not included. Includes **100 AI credits**. See the [Softr pricing page](https://www.softr.io/pricing). - **Workspace setup:** create it on a new workspace named exactly **Partner Sandbox** (two words, title case). - **Permitted use:** demos for prospective clients, internal training and evaluation, and internal applications for your own business. - **Prohibited use:** reselling Softr or applications built on the sandbox, and sharing it with other companies. It is strictly tied to the registered business holding the certified-partner status. ### Softr Partner Spotlight The process for featuring partners and their Softr work on Softr's social media channels.
