Lead Matching

How matched leads reach you, the 3 work day action deadline, messaging rules, and what happens when you reject a lead.

Softr Partners leads are no longer “pooled”, i.e. released to the entire partner network via Slack. We found this often led to a poor experience for both customers and partners.

Every customer inquiry received via the “get matched” form is processed with AI, graded, and scored against all active partners accepting new projects for best fit using factors like data source, integrations, industry and service offering, then assigned to 4 high-quality matched partners with optimization for fair round-robin distribution. A standard inquiry is matched with 2 Premium and 2 Certified Partners; an Enterprise inquiry with 4 Premium Partners (see How Lead Matching Works).

  • All matches and AI analysis are reviewed by the Softr Partners team for quality control before being finalized.
  • Higher-graded leads are more likely to match with a Premium Partner, while lower-graded leads are more likely to match with a Certified Partner. Enterprise-grade leads are most likely to match with an Enterprise Partner. This does not mean Certified Partners will never receive highly graded leads; it’s one of many factors in the matchmaking process.
  • Other matched partners cannot see any of your lead activity or adjust your lead’s status (each partner has independent copies of the shared lead).

When customers log in to the portal to view messages from partners, messages from each partner are kept in separate threads, and a “Schedule with partner” button is provided for each partner profile, driving the customer to their selected partner’s external scheduling page.

Lead action deadline

When you are assigned a Softr Partners lead, you have 3 work days to take action on the lead by either sending them a message or rejecting the lead in the portal.

Failing to take action within the deadline results in a penalty of -100 points.

Lead messaging

The partner portal supports 2-way email messaging directly within the app. All emails are delivered via partners@softr.io with links into the portal messaging interface.

To earn 25 points for acting on a lead within the deadline, you must send your initial message to the customer via the portal (or by CC’ing the Partners mailbox, see How to message a lead). Screenshots of external emails, messages or calls will not be accepted.

We understand you might prefer to email the customer directly, and we share the customer’s email address with you to allow that, but we ask that you conduct as much of your pre-sales messaging within the portal as possible. Visibility into this stage of the partner–customer relationship is extremely helpful to the Softr Partners team, and the insights we gain here benefit all partners and customers.

Rejecting a matched lead

There is no penalty for rejecting a matched lead, and the customer will never know you were paired with them (they only receive your profile info after you send them a message in the portal).

When a matched lead is rejected by one partner, the system automatically assigns the next partner in line based on the initial AI match scoring.

Use these docs with your AI tools

An AI agent can read this documentation directly. You do not need an account or an API key. Everything here is public and read-only.

Query these docs via MCP

Recommended

Add this server to Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Mistral, or any tool that supports MCP. Your agent can then search Softr Partner Docs documentation and read it in full, instead of answering from memory.

https://partner-docs.iamno.pro/mcp
  • searchFind the passages that answer a question.
  • fetchRead one page in full, as Markdown.
  • list_pagesSee every page in this documentation.

Query these docs over HTTP

The same tools also work as plain web requests. Use this for scripts, or for any tool that does not support MCP. There is one endpoint per tool. Arguments go in the query string, and the answer comes back as JSON.

Read the OpenAPI description. It is built from the same definitions as the tools, so it always matches what the endpoints do.

Read these docs as Markdown

Add .md to any page URL to get its Markdown source. You can also send the headerAccept: text/markdown to the page URL itself.

To read the whole documentation in one file, open llms-full.txt. For a short index of every page, open llms.txt.
